Last time I already posted 2 times regarding this title and the response so good from friend and visitors here. I hope it works good for you too. FYI, in orchid show generally, the Dendrobium will divided to 5 classes,  i. Miniature, ii. Intermediate, iii. Round, iv. Horn and v. Nobile. So before you replant your dendrobium you should know which class are they. Based on my experience, class i - iv can easily grow and take care as well to replant them. But some how some of the plant in this class need special attention and modified on the way to replant them. It is depends on the inter-generic blood for that dendrobium, but here I don't want to touch this issue, I will mention it in other post.
Before we go further, know your dendrobium class. So it will give you the guide line in replanting your dendrobium. After this I will use this term in my post. How to re-plant them, I will discuss it in Part III - B.

Class 1 : Dendrobium Miniature
Specs: The cane more or less 6 inches to 10 inches. Generally the  flower size around 1 inch.

Class II: Dendrobium Intermediate

Specs: The cane normally is more than 10 inches. The flower shape is not round, just in the middle.

Class III : Dendrobium Round
Specs: The cane normally is more than 10 inches. The flower shape is  more round.
Class IV: Dendrobium Horn
Specs: The cane can be from 6 inches or longer up to several inches. The flower shape should have horn (twisted or not twisted) at petal.

Class V: Dendrobium Nobile
