2nd Annivesary Orchids de Dangau

 Masa berlalu terlalu pantas, pejam celik sudah lebih dua tahun OdD mula 'berblogging' ni.  Sepatutnya pada sepatutnya ulangtahun OdD ini pada 18th Februari, tetapi waktu itu OdD  terlalu sibuk dengan arwah abang yang terlantar di hospital, sehingga terlupa berkenaan perkara ini. Dia meninggal dunia pada 19th Februari...Al-Fatihah.Ambil masa juga buat OdD untuk 'recover' sehingga hari ini baru teringat perkara ini.

Time running so fast, now already 2 years I 'blogging' Actually the 2nd Annivesary is on 18th February, since on that day I'm struggling with my late brother in the hospital, I forgot about this date. He passed away on 19th February. So its takes sometimes for  me to recover.

OdD masih hidup di'sini'  di blogsphere...rupanya dah masuk 2 tahun. Maklumbalas dan komen dari pelawat dan kawan-kawan maya di sini memberi kekuatan kepada OdD untuk terus ber'blogging' ni. Terima kasih untuk semua!
 
I still survive in blogshere for another year! Hopefully I will continue keep updating this blog. The feedback and comments from visitors around the blogsphere help me a lot to improve OdD. Thanks a lot to all of you!

Kemudian kepada Blotanical.com dimana OdD menemui ramai rakan maya seluruh dunia yang berkogsi secara percuma' idea dan tip-tip dalam dunia blogger dan perkebunan.
 
Then to Blotanical.com , where I found many friends from around the world, which they did shared their idea and  interest about gardening. I know a lot of them mutually. It's help me a lot to seize the garden world.
 
 Terima kasih kepada semua rakan-rakan maya, pelawat dan 'pengikut' OdD. OdD amat menghargai anda semua. Anda semua yang menghidupkan OdD!

Thanks to all friends, readers and also the followers.  I really  do appreciate your supports. All of you keep me 'alive' in this blogsphere.
Sehingga sekarang, OdD telah menerima lebih dari 1000 komen, 41,136 hit yang mana menokok dengan banyak sekali dari 3082 ajer pada tahun pertama. Pengikut OdD dah 76 orang dengan 10,539 pelawat unik dengan penambahan sebanyak kurang lebih 8000 dari 126 buah negara, Mungkin ini tidak dikira banyak jika dibandingkan dengan blog-blog popular lain...apa pun pada OdD dah di kira amat bagus dah ni. Sekali lagi penghargaan ini OdD rakamkan untuk semua pelawat dan pembaca blog ini...dengan jutaan TERIMA KASIH di atas sokongan anda semua.
Since now, I received more than 1000 comments, 41,136 hits, which is increase enormously from only 3082 hits on the first year, 76 followers, 10,539 unique visitors increased more than 8000 unique visitors from 126 countries. 1 st Annivesarry Orchid de Dangau

Last year on 18 February 2010, I start blogging in Orchid de Dangau. Time running so fast, now already 1 year I keep updating my blog. I still not believe that, I still survive in the blogsphere. I start from zero, not have any knowledge about this blog world. Slowly I learn form other blog, Google and some reference note in the internet.

I start this blog by using Malay language (national language), then on August onwards I try to converted to English language part by part. For the first few months I stop blogging, because I don't have any idea to post it. At that time also I'm quite busy with my post degree study. English is not my mother tongue. I try to build my confidence by reading others blog and it helps me a lot.

I know and read a lot of orchid blogs through the net, and finally I found one directory which connecting the world of orchids through Orchidwire.com. This page helps me a lot to know orchid collectors, nurseries,  enthusiast and admires around the world. Also from here, I got many ideas to set my journey in this blogsphere. Thanks Mr Wendell Kozak by putting my blog in Orchidwire.com  on 12 August 2010. 

End of August 2010 I read about Blotanical.com then I found many friends from around the world share their idea and  interest about gardening. I'm very excited. I start search friends from every part of the world and my country. From here I know them mutually. The 1st friend I click through here is  Carol - Flower Hill Farm , she always 1st in the popular list ;-), then I found   Autumn Belle - My Nice Garden blogger  from Malaysia,  then one by one blog I explore deeply. It's help me a lot to seize the garden world ; and at least give me spirit and idea to keep updating my blog. Everybody have their own interest, sometimes it is more than I imagine. Then on 6 September 2010, my blog was listed in this amazing Blotanical.com.

Thanks to all friends, all readers and also all the follower, you means so much to me. I really  do appreciate your supports. You are my inspiration! All of you keep me 'alive' in this blogsphere.

Since now, I received more than 200 comments, 3082 hits, 36 followers, 2077 unique visitors from 70 countries. May be it's not so many compare to others blog...but for me is more than enough.  I really appreciate all the readers and visitors. Once again THANKS SO MUCH for your support.

New Year...New Chapter of gardending

New year just start few days ago. Beside the remaining garden I have, now I'm start work with new garden, the new chapter of gardening project. 01 01 11 it's start a new gardening adventure!

My partner and I, bought this land last August and planning to build our home with dream garden. Our planning is to build traditional Malay houses, full with orchid garden and poultry farm. The location of this land is very peaceful and unique, nearby rice filed and have very good scenery. This land area are 16,000 square feet, more than enough for us to build house and garden.

Clearing the land, is the difficulties to start this project, it is because this land  contains of too  much  water  and have full of mud. First, we needs to clear the bushes and coconut trees, then flatten the area to ensure its higher than the rice fields. 

The weather plays important role during this progress. Base on our local weather last year, during this time no more raining, but this year until 1st week of January, there are still raining. So clearing the land and flatten the area cannot done on schedule. Now, the progress have been stop for few days because of this reason.
By the way, here is some progress for this project.

Countdown 2011...begining a new decade

This is my 51st post and the last post for this year. Just want to recap since my 1st post. I start this blog on 19 Feb 2010 and I take rest for almost 4 month (no idea and bz with my study). I not believe that I can 'survive' and continue posting until today...ahaaa until today.
Last time I really don't know how to start, even to create the post or attach the picture and so on. Slowly I learn and get some idea, to improve this blog. Thanks to God, give me a strength, and to all followers and readers who give me inspiration and good comments here (almost 200 comments till now). For the first few post I wrote in Malay language and then switch to English, to make it easy for readers and the same time I can practice my English writing ( I'm not so good writing in English, please give your comment).

So far until now there are 2010 hits, 24 followers with 1195 unique visitors have visited this blog...Thanks to all of you!

Now I have a clear direction to continue this blog. My goal is to share the interest of planting orchids, information of caring orchids, the beauties of thousands orchid in the world that I have captured and the information of orchid show surrounding my Orchid de Dangau. Next thing I will do for new coming year....gardening update with my new 'kampung' house, an extra beside orchid.

To all ...here is the bunch of orchids for you...Once again TQVM.
