This orchid are gound in the eastern
Himalayas, India, Nepal, Sikkim, Myanmar and Thailand. This dendrobium
is a mini-miniature sized, hot growing lithophyte or epiphyte found on
secondary shrub vegatation. It can grow well in hot and humid areas at
elevations around 300 to 400 meters. The pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 4,
sessile, broadly elliptic to linear-oblong, leathery, deciduous, acute
to subacute apically leaves. This orchid blooms during hot and dry season in Malaysia. The size of the flower ~1.25cm at leafless cane and the flowers have a bit strong fragrant.

This cymbidium hybrid considered heat
tolerate and free blooming all year round in Malaysia lowland. This
orchid was registered in 2002. Parentage for this hybrid is between
Cymbidium iridioides X Cymbidium Golden Elf. They are many variants
from seedling, which in this post are less spotted and light yellow
which is consider quite seldom seen in the market.

This orchid endemic to southern Bahia, Brazil and found at West coastal zone. This orchid is
uni or bifoliate species. Happily grown near swampy margins with
shade, high humidity and high rainfall that blooms on a terminal, short,

Bahia , specifically the southern and southeastern regions of the state.
The species is generally found in the Atlantic Forest range above 400
meters in altitude . Behaves epiphyte , it reaches about 20 cm , leaves
smooth, rigid and elliptical and flowers ranging from light green to
dark green with spots brown and lip of color purple .

This orchid is warm-growing, pendulous
flowering orchid from low tropical areas of Singapore, Malaysia,
Thailand and the Philippines (where it is rare). In these tropical
countries it is found growing near sea level.

Orchid de Dangau Dangau = Pondok in Malay language, but this word usually only used in Northern part of Peninsular Malaysia. Dangau = Pondok = Hut (English language)
