This is the updates for the 7th Taiping Sentral Orchids Show 2015. 7th years in the row, Taiping Orchids society and Taiping Sentral Management successful to organized this yearly events. Congrats to Taiping Orchid Society and Taiping Sentral Managenet.
From my point of view, new comers still less participates in the show, even this show already 7 years and the hobbyist and collectors increase drastically in the social media. Even the seller increase as well and the plants are more cheaper now a days.
One of the objective in the show is to encourage people especially new comers and collectors to participate in the show. I still cannot find the answer why? Is it too shy to bring the plants to the show or no info regarding this event? Normally the event like this offers the opportunities to the participants to know each other well and maybe to exchange their plants or even to do side business based on their hobby. And the show winners also reward with CASH PRIZE... I still don't have the answer!!!! So the hobbyist and collectors come and join the show.... many more are coming this year...please check the OdD side bar...i will update accordingly.
