Persatuan Orkid Kedah, telah menganjurkan pameran dan pertandingan orkid sempena sambutan pengistiharan ke 10, Majlis Perbandaran Kulim dan Kulim Flora Fest 2011. Ramai peserta yang telah datang menyertai pertandingan ini, dari Perlis hingga ke Pahang. Pertandingan Orkid yang berjaya! Tahniah kepada Persatuan Orkid Kedah dan juga Majlis Perbandaran Kulim!

Dendrobium (palpebrae x chrysotoxum) dengan 16 tangkai bunga telah berjaya mendapat pokok terbaik kali ini. Dikongsi bersama di sini beberapa gambar sekitar pertandingan dan pameran ini. Semua di jemput hadir ke Kulim Flora Fest jika berkelapangan, ia masih berlangsung sehinga Jumaat, 4 Nov. 2011. Seterusnya pertandingan orkid bulanan akan bergerak ke Kebun Bunga, Pulau Pinang pada 5 Nov. 2011, yang di anjurkan oleh FOMOS.

Kedah Orchid Society organized the Orchid Show at Kulim in conjunction with the 10th anniversary for announcement of  Majlis Perbandaran Kulim (Kulim Municipal Council) and Kulim Flora Fest 2011. Many participants had joined this orchid show, from north (Perlis state) to South state (Cameron Highland, Pahang). It is quite successful orchid show. Congrats to Kedah Orchid Society for being the main host for this show in association with Kulim Municipal Council.

The primary hybrid, Dendrobium (palpebrae x chrysotoxum) with 16 spikes  had won the best plant of this show. It is quite stunning plant. Here I share some of the beauties of the orchids during this show. If you have time please come and visit this orchid show at Medan Usahawan, Kulim, Kedah. This show will be end on Friday, 4th of November. Then the orchid show will continue at Botanical Garden, Penang and organize by Federation of Malaya Orchid Society (FOMOS) on 5th November 2011.

  2. All of them are so pretty. If I become and orchid lover, don't think we have enough space to collect them. so many!
