Sepatutnya OdD update sejak 2 minggu lalu...disebabkan masalah komputer yang belum selesai...ia selalu saja tertanguh post di sini. Maaf di atas kelewatan ini.
Tak pernah OdD pergi ke acara penting di Putrajaya ini...dengar kehebatannya...tapi tak pernahnya sampai, sebabnya acara ni jauh sangat dengan OdD dan masanya selalu bertindih dengan acara lain.

Tak pernah OdD pergi ke acara penting di Putrajaya ini...dengar kehebatannya...tapi tak pernahnya sampai, sebabnya acara ni jauh sangat dengan OdD dan masanya selalu bertindih dengan acara lain.
I never been in this event before. I heard that, this is very interesting event. Every year since the 1st FLORIA, I always have something to do or sometime there are event overlapped with this event. Furthermore Putrajaya too far from my hometown, the reason why I not take part in this event.
Tahun ini OdD terlibat secara langsung dengan salah satu pameran yang di adakan di pameran ini. OdD dan 3 orang rakan terlibat dalam pertandingan lanskap orkid untuk kategori Persatuan Orkid di Malaysia. OdD dan teman -teman mewakili Persatuan Orkid Perlis dan Federation of Malaya Orchid Society (Penang). Ini lah kali pertama kami menyertai pertandingan ini, untuk mengambil pengalaman dan belajar. Sebelum-sebelum ni...selalunya di wakilkan saja kepada Orchid Society of Malaysia (OSM).
This year my friends and I directly take part in one of their major event...orchid landscape for Orchid Societies in Malaysia. We represent Federation of Malaya Orchid Society (FOMOS - Penang) and Perlis Orchid Society. This the first time for us take part, normally we just pass it to vendors to handle for us.

Banyak juga persedian yang perlu di sediakan...yelah...mana lah nak kenal dan tahu nurseri-nurseri di sana untuk mendapatkan bekalan pokok-pokok untuk lanskap ni. Jadi terjah saja ke sana ke mari dan dapatlah apa yang ada. Tak semua yang kami mahu dapat...kurang dari 30% bahan yang dikehendaki kami dapat, yang selebihnya di ganti dengan apa yang ada saja.
Jadi perancangan awal mengikut rekabentuk pelan tidak dapat dipenuhi, maka jadilah lanskap yang ala kadar saja. Apapun kami semua bersyukur kerana dapat juga menyiapkan lanskap yang di kehendaki. Untuk lanskap kami, konsepnya mudah "Less is More"....bagi kebanyakan orang konsep ini kurang diminati. Inilah hasilnya ....tak menang apa pun, tapi dapat lah pengalaman yang begitu berharga! Tahun depan jika ada rezeki cuba lagi ;-)
A lots of preparation...we don't know the nurseries which can provide us ornamental plants. At last we found one which is near to the place event. Thanks God! unless we cannot finish our setup. However that nursery do not supply all the plants and props we want...i think it just less than 30% we got...others we need to change to other plants and props. Our concepts is simple it just " Less is More". And the results you can see from the pictures we snapped. We not win any prize...but for us this very good experience...if have chance we will join this competition again with more idea and concept! FLORIA we will come again next year!
